Compared with ordinary syringes, safety syringes have an extra safety mechanism. The needle on the safety syringe can be detached or permanently attached. The safety syringe with needle has a built-in Luer locking system, for which people also call it safety lock needle. With non-leakage function, the needle can be connected to the syringe in a safe way and can be discarded without getting rid of the needle.
